With a durable and water resistant construction the Punk speaker was designed to be taken anywhere. Its upward facing direction indicates its use case- in social settings where the sounds spreads out 360 degrees.

The silicone body is for additional shock absorption if the product was ever to be dropped. Its large tactile buttons inspired by blind lettering means you can use the speaker without looking at the product to operate it.

The packaging was designed to fit in with the rest of SOL republics visual language. To illustrate the power embedded in this small speaker, the product is kept inside a dyed bagasse tray with a texture suggesting ripples on the surface made by sound waves from the speaker.
